Ms. McConnell began The East End Ensemble with the wish to bring the arts to the community. She is dedicated to the belief that the arts have a healing influence, to encourage children and adults to express themselves, whether within the realm of public speaking or a dramatic workshop, and lastly to be a support and friend for those in the arts where help is difficult to find in such a harsh arena. The East End Ensemble motto is also her own, "Do what you love, love what you do." It is her desire in life to attempt to bring that motto to everyone who has ever had a dream and wants to live it, or who has ever had a dream and has somehow lost it, or simply is having trouble finding it. |

An avid athlete, basketball player, marksperson and all around jock, I represent the masses of appreciation for the arts, yet my intense desire to share my talent and the talent of other artists is crucial. I have always been involved in the arts. My grand parents and aunt were stars of Vaudeville and Broadway. The apple does not fall very far from the tree. I grew up in Darien, Connecticut, have always ventured to NYC and now live here. I graduated from Emerson College in Boston, Mass. I have a BFA in Musical theatre, minor in Dance, and an MFA in Acting. I have traveled all over the world singing, dancing and acting, and landed in this artistic mecca. Having a fantastic network of talented friends and the ability to recognize talent, I hope to help Garrett bring East End Ensemble's mission to fruition. I am a proud member of AEA, SAG and AFTRA. |
